Belief System

Believe in yourself and your capabilities. Belief delivers a direct command to your nervous system. When you believe something is true, you literally go into a state of its being true. Belief is the most powerful force for creating the good in your life. Belief energizes you to get what you want. There are two types of belief. Empowering and Disempowering. If you believe in success, you will be empowered to achieve it.

Where do beliefs come from? Why do some people have beliefs that push them toward success while other have beliefs that only help them to fail? Beliefs are created through the past results. The best way to create a belief that you can do something is to do it once, just once. If you succeed once, it is far easier to form a belief that you will succeed again.

Psychologists believe that 75% of a child's early programming is negative, passed on by parents, relatives, teachers, other adults and peers who themselves were negatively programmed. Over time the messages children pickup become incorporated into their world view and continue to influence their behavior on an unconscious level. But the unconsciousness of a belief will continue to work against you.

Environment is where the cycles of success breeding success and failure breeding failure are played out in the most relentless fashion. If you grew up in wealth and success, you can easily obtain wealth and success. If you grew up in poverty and despair, all you see is failure and despair and it becomes very hard for you to succeed. But you can change your beliefs and thus yourself.

There are certain events in everyone's life that they will never forget. You can change your beliefs about what is possible through these events. Understanding what you value is another element of becoming familiar with yourself and with your preferences and with your beliefs. Every action that you incorporate within your reality is influenced by a belief. There is NO movement that you engage within this particular physical reality that is not influenced by a belief.

If you create in your mind a clear image of the result you want and represent it to yourself, as if you have already achieved it, then you will go into kind of state that will support you in creating the results you desire. If you have negative belief systems, you should know by now what sort of harmful effects they have. You can change them into effective and empowering beliefs. You can find out about the beliefs of most successful people that you know and model them. Success feeds on success and generates more success, and each success creates more belief and momentum to succeed on an even higher scale. The principle of mind does not differ from the principal of life; the principle of mind is that whatever we impress upon it is expressed on the screen of space as condition, experience and event.

Most of us through out our lives are ignorant of the fact that it's our limiting beliefs which are responsible for failure in life. Fortunately there is remedy. Becoming aware of the belief that binds us is the first step to breaking free of them. Awareness is the key to liberation. To become aware of the beliefs that bind you, choose one area of your life that feels deficient in some way. It is here that your limiting beliefs are operating most strongly. Next, decide what you want to occur in that area of life. Ask yourself what it would feel like if this part of my life were whole. Finally create an empowering belief. Change the negative belief into new affirmation, a positive belief.
